About project: A leasing provider for vehicles (cars and trucks), is building a comprehensive technology platform designed to streamline credit decision-making for micro-businesses, improve communication with suppliers, and support a marketplace where users can view leasing options and apply online. Company operated on several EU markets with offices in Slovakia and France.
Product: Asset based financing for micro entrepreneurs.
Project Technologies: Python 3.9+, Django REST Framework, Celery, FastAPI, Selenium, GCP, Google Cloud SQL (Postgresql), Google Cloud Firestore, Elastic Search.
Team: 2 python developers + external contractors.
Project duration: over 1 year.
Development stage: MVP
Must have skills (hard, technical):
- Strong expertise in developing back-end systems with Python, preferably in a microservices or cloud environment.
- Experience with Flask or Django: Proficiency in Python web frameworks for building scalable APIs and services.
- Solid experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth integration with external and internal systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments for deploying microservices
- Strong Git skills for collaboration and version control in a team setting.
- At least 4 years of Python development experience, preferably in a microservices or FinTech context.
Must have skills (soft):
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborative attitude, able to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams (front-end, product, etc.).
- Experience working in agile environments, participating in sprints, and delivering features on time.
Tasks:
- Build, test, and maintain various Python-based microservices that support real-time calculations, credit decisions, and contract generation.
- Work on integrating external data sources (credit bureaus, payment gateways, etc.) and internal systems (CRM, dealer/agent module) via APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while optimizing the performance of the microservices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, the Tech Lead, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of back-end services.
- Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure code quality through peer reviews.
- Ensure that all code is compliant with industry standards for security, especially as it pertains to handling sensitive financial and customer data.
Interview stages:
Technical part (1 stage): tech online interview with СТО.
Final part (2 stage): online interview with CEO.
Work schedule:
The full-time work — 100% remote. Flexible workday (start from 8.00 to 11.00).
