About project: A leasing provider for vehicles (cars and trucks), is building a comprehensive technology platform designed to streamline credit decision-making for micro-businesses, improve communication with suppliers, and support a marketplace where users can view leasing options and apply online. Company operated on several EU markets with offices in Slovakia and France.
Product: Set of internal microservices + marketplace for asset based financing for microentrepreneurs.
Project Technologies: Python 3.9+, Django REST Framework, Celery, FastAPI, Selenium, GCP, Google Cloud SQL (Postgresql), Google Cloud Firestore, Elastic Search.
Team: 2 python developers + external contractors.
Project duration: over 1 year.
Development stage: MVP
Must have skills (hard, technical):
- Experience in Microservices Architecture: Strong experience in building, scaling, and maintaining microservice-based applications, particularly in the financial/credit decision domain.
- Strong Python Expertise, Cloud Expertise: Proficient in cloud platforms and containerization to manage and deploy microservices.
- API Integration Experience.
- Database & Data Management.
-Previous experience as a tech lead or senior engineering role, managing teams of developers in fast-paced environments.
Must have skills (soft):
- Ability to make high-impact technical decisions, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.
As a plus:
- Security and Compliance: Experience ensuring that the platform is compliant with industry security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and able to handle sensitive financial data securely.
- Preferable Experience in Financial Services.
Tasks:
- Own platform architecture and technical strategy, leading scalable microservices development (e.g., calculation engine, credit module), overseeing integration with external and internal systems, and ensuring security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers to ensure high code quality and best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and acting as a liaison between the engineering team and non-technical stakeholders by translating technical complexities into business-friendly language.
- Oversee the timely delivery of features by breaking projects into sprints, driving agile development, and managing technical debt without compromising quality.
- Participate in coding key platform components, especially core architecture and critical features, while conducting code reviews, assisting with debugging, and providing guidance on complex technical challenges.
Interview stages:
Technical part (1 stage): tech online interview with СТО.
Final part (2 stage): online interview with CEO.
Work schedule:
The full-time work — 100% remote. Flexible workday (start from 8.00 to 11.00).
