Tatra introduces new generation of Phoenix

Tatra Trucks has unveiled the next generation of its Tatra Phoenix model range. The new Tatra Phoenix, the mainstay of the Kopřivnice-based carmaker's production portfolio, is designed primarily for the civilian market, but will also find application in rescue and defence forces.

Also popular in Slovakia

The Tatra brand is historically well-known in Slovakia and still has its position here. Many of its new and older models are on our roads. Small and medium-sized companies often have to deal with banks to finance used trucks and lease new trucks, but now the process has been simplified for them.

ESKA Finance has entered the Slovak market, bringing leasing options for trucks. It may also help the sale of the new generation Tatra Phoenix, the development of which began in 2022 and the carmaker has drawn on the experience of its engineers. The new generation again relies on the proven Tatra chassis concept and cabs from long-standing partner DAF Trucks.

The new Phoenix cab is based on the DAF XDC and has been designed with an emphasis on safety, comfort and low fuel consumption. It features a modern interior, digital dashboard and anatomical seats for maximum comfort. Different cab versions are available.

Still unique chassis

The chassis of the new-generation Phoenix retains the traditional Tatra chassis concept with a central support tube that protects the drive shafts from damage. The Tartar chassis with independent semi-axles is unique in the world of heavy all-wheel drive trucks. A variety of configurations will be available, from 4x4 to multiple rear axle driven versions to suit the needs of the user.

The chassis concept ensures high stability and comfort, while reducing vibration, which improves drivability and increases speed, even on difficult terrain. Thanks to the low centre of gravity and higher payload weight, fitting various superstructures is simple and efficient, increasing the versatility of the vehicles.

If you are interested in the Tatra Phoenix equipped with Paccar MX-11 and MX-13 engines with ZF TraXon automated transmissions or Allison fully automatic transmissions and would like to purchase trucks for your fleet on hire purchase or are thinking about leasing trucks, contact ESKA Finance. In addition, the company also offers truck leaseback, which you can read more about on their website at www.eskafinance.sk.
